curator, writer, researcher

I acted as assistant curator for the exhibition "Is it alive?" from October 2023-January 2024 as part of my traineeship at the TextielMuseum in Tilburg, together with the curator Adelheid Smit.
The exhibition, open from January 2024-January 2025, showcased historical household textiles from the museum's collection, including tea towels designed by Bauhaus-trained Kitty van der Mijll-Dekker, in confrontation with the artistic research project "Tea Towel Portraits" by Vera Roggli (2023).
I assisted with research and text writing for the exhibition, selection of objects, installation and exhibition design.
