curator, writer, researcher

I acted as assistant curator for the exhibition "Makers on Materials" from October 2023-February 2024 as part of my traineeship at the TextielMuseum in Tilburg, together with the curator Danique Klijs.
The exhibition, open from April 2024-November, included works by artists and designers Christien Meindertsma, Thierry Oussou, Rosana Escobar, Caroline Bach, Asli Hatipoglu and duo Marjo van Schaik and Dasha Tsapenko.
I assisted in preliminary concept development for the exhibition, artist and artwork selection, creation of object lists, communication with artists, research and text writing.
